Yugu Sandbar is located in Qixia Village, Dongshan Island, and is a miraculous sandbar bestowed by nature. It is named ‘Yugu Sandbar’ because, after the tide recedes, a beach resembling the shape of a fish bone appears in the middle of the sea. Layer upon layer of seawater surges towards the beach like fish scales, with sparkling waves, as if the sea and the sky are connected, creating a spectacular view.
The sandbar is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:30. In cases where the tidal times are earlier, it begins operation at 8:15, with the last boat returning at 17:30.
