The Yuhailou of the Sun family’s former residence is one of the four major libraries in Zhejiang. It was built in 1861. The building faces south. It is of brick and wood structure. The main room is huge. It has nine rooms in width. The three-story gatehouse has upturned eaves and gray tiles. The gate tower is towering. The memorial hall of Sun Yirang’s former residence is also here.
