Yulong Mountain National Forest Park, a beautiful destination, is located on the southeast border of Dazu County, in the Bayan Mountain anticline area, a branch of the Huai’ng Mountain. The park is rich in tourism resources, with natural and cultural landscapes complementing each other, integrating mountain scenery, peculiar peaks and rocks, lake hot springs, forest scenery, rare plants, religious cultural sites, cliff grottoes, and local specialties into a diverse and comprehensive tourism resource system.
The total area of the scenic area is 3517.39 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 92%. It is composed of four major scenic areas: the Black Bamboo Forest Gully virgin secondary forest scenic area, the Sanqing Cave scenic area, the Chanle Bamboo Sea scenic area, and the Longshui Lake scenic area, totaling 37 scenic spots. The park has numerous cultural landscapes, including Taoist Sanqing Cave, Catholic churches, Buddhist sacred sites such as Baiyun Ancient Temple, Chanle Temple, Huangyan Temple, and Yufeng Temple, all imbued with profound religious cultural colors.
