Yun Shang Paragliding Sports Base, located 2 kilometers north of Yongchuan city in Chongqing, is nestled within the scenic Chashan Zhuhai. The base leverages the natural beauty of the tea mountains and bamboo forests to create a unique tourism experience, offering visitors a bird’s-eye view of the spectacular landscape. It has become a paragliding sports experience tourism base with distinctive scenic characteristics.
The take-off site of Yun Shang Paragliding Base is at Lanjia Wuji (Old Sixth Team) in Chashan Zhuhai, Yongchuan District, Chongqing, with an elevation of 960 meters. The landing site is located next to Jinding Temple Reservoir, with an elevation of 330 meters, resulting in a drop of 630 meters. The flying altitude ranges from 960 meters to 1500 meters above sea level.
Flight duration varies depending on the air currents on the day, and considering that flights longer than 15 minutes may cause dizziness and nausea for some individuals, the instructors will adjust the flight time based on the passengers’ comfort, maintaining it between 8 to 15 minutes.
