Yunfeng Mountain Eco-Tourism Area is located in the northeastern part of Nanxiong City, bordering Quannan County of Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province to the north and northeast. Spanning two provinces, Guangdong and Jiangxi, it is a unique scenic spot in Nanxiong City where one mountain crosses two provinces. The scenic area boasts over ten thousand acres of ginkgo forests with more than ten thousand trees, over ten thousand acres of American red maple forests with more than ten thousand trees, over ten thousand acres of cherry blossom forests with more than ten thousand trees, over a thousand acres of blueberry gardens with more than seven thousand trees, 70 rooms in the Star City Homestay, 100 tents at the Lion Mountain Lake Camping Ground, and 50 Hakka-themed homestays at Lion Mountain Lake.
Visitors can enjoy sunrise and sea of clouds in the morning, sunset and rosy clouds in the evening, red maple forests in spring, cherry blossoms in summer, ginkgo and red maple forests in autumn, and ice formations in winter. The area offers a continuous array of beautiful scenery throughout the year.
