Yunfo Ski Resort is located on the south bank of Miyun Reservoir, a water source protection area in Beijing. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, it has a beautiful environment. It is also a large ski resort in North China. There is one advanced ski trail with an international standard length of 1000 meters, three intermediate ski trails with lengths ranging from 300 to 700 meters, four primary ski trails with lengths ranging from 100 to 300 meters, and one 600-meter-long snowmobile trail.
There is also a 1.5-kilometer-long cross-country fitness ski trail jointly developed with foreign countries. A variety of entertainment skiing projects such as ski ring trails, horse-drawn sleds, dog sleds, and snow sculptures have been opened up, suitable for skiing enthusiasts of all ages. In 2004, Yunfo Ski Resort newly built a U-shaped snowboard trail. Snowboarding, as the promotion of popular amateur skiing sports, also advocates a healthy and fashionable lifestyle. In addition, the ski equipment hall here can accommodate 3000 people to change ski equipment and ski suits at the same time. To ensure the dryness and hygiene of ski suits and ski boots, a high-temperature steam disinfection and drying room has been built in the hall. There are two 1000-meter-long high-altitude cableways, transporting 3800 people per hour. There are also more than twenty senior ski coaches on site to provide guidance, which can quickly improve skiing skills. Opening hours: From December 3 to December 31, open from 08:30 to 17:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00; from January 1 to February 29, open from 08:30 to 17:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00.
