The Yunhe Drifting scenic area is located in Luting Township, Yuyao, at the northern foot of Siming Mountain. The entire drifting course of Yunhe Drifting is 2.5 kilometers long, with a vertical drop of more than 50 meters. The drifting time is about 1.5 hours. The Xiaolu Daxi River where the water drifting in Yunhe Drifting scenic area is located was formerly known as Changjian. It originates from Baiyanjian, which is 777 meters above sea level.
It runs across the entire territory of Luting Township from west to east. The section within Luting Township is about 15 kilometers long. The stream course is tortuous, surging left and right, undulating, with suitable height differences and proper openings and closings. It is a paradise for drifting. In Luting Township, there are the ‘three bridges and one temple’ with a long history. Namely, the Baiyun Bridge known as the first ancient bridge in eastern Zhejiang, the ingenious Lijiata Banqiao Bridge, the Dafang Bridge with elegant ancient art, and the Xiansheng Temple known as the first ancient stage in eastern Zhejiang. They were built in the Tang, Song and Qing dynasties respectively.
