The Yunji Hermit Courtyard is hidden in a courtyard in the center of Beijing. It is divided into four rooms in the east, south, west and north. Judging from the basic layout, it is composed of the main room in the north, ‘Ruyun Hall’, the inverted room in the south, ‘Wangyun Hall’, and the wing rooms on the east and west sides, ‘Dengyun Hall’ and ‘Xingyun Hall’.
