Yunju Ski Resort is located in a natural valley area shielded by mountains. Its unique geographical environment makes it a natural haven and forms a ‘microclimate’. In winter, the temperature at the ski resort is 5 degrees different from that in the urban area. Natural snowfall remains unmelting for a long time. The entire scenic area is ‘covered in silver, extremely enchanting’, fully showing the northern landscape.
In summer, apart from skiing, it becomes a place yearned for by anglers. Yunju Ski Resort is adjacent to the thousand-year-old ancient temple – Yunju Temple. Nestling in the embrace of the majestic Taihang Mountains, it is truly a blessed land of ‘surrounded by Taihang Mountains and bathed in the light of Buddha’. Standing on the peak and looking north from the parapet opening, the spire of Yunju Temple seems within reach. The majestic peaks of the Taihang Mountains are dotted with green cypresses, like rows of soldiers in armor going out to battle. Yunju Ski Resort has 8 ski runs for advanced, intermediate and beginner levels. Currently, the beginner, intermediate and advanced ski runs and a total of 6 snow tube runs are open. The total length of the ski runs is 5000 meters, with a maximum drop of 98 meters and a maximum slope of 25 degrees. Among them, the two ski runs ‘Chuyun’ and ‘Feixian’, with a total length of 1600 meters, have a slope of 25 degrees at the peak part, reaching the standards of domestic advanced ski runs. Like auspicious and holy hadas, they meander down from both sides of the peak respectively, drawing two beautiful arcs in the scenic area. The surface of Yunju Lake glitters with silver, which is a paradise for ice skating and ice top lovers and a playground for children. The opening hours are from January 1st to February 29th, 08:30 – 22:00. Supplementary note on preferential policies: The scenic area has unified ticket sales.
