The Yunmenshan Tourist Resort in Shaoguan is located in Ruyuan County, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, the hometown of the过山瑶 people in the world. The forest vegetation coverage rate in the resort area is as high as 89.3%. There are numerous strange peaks, towering ancient trees, fresh air, blooming mountain flowers, and a rich variety of precious wild animals and plants. Throughout the year, there is a gurgling stream in the forest. At present, the opened projects in the scenic area include the natural scenic area, Yunshang Waterfall, sightseeing elevator, glass bridge, sightseeing cable car, motorized amusement park, hundred-mu flower sea, cute pet paradise, and peacock paradise.【Natural Scenic Area】The Yunmenshan natural scenic area is adjacent to the thousand-year-old Yunmen Temple. The mountain is influenced by Yunmen Zen for thousands of years. The water is the holy water of the same origin as Yunmen. It can be said that both the mountains and waters have Buddha nature and the plants and trees have Zen minds. As long as you stroll among the Yunmen Mountains, listen to the birds singing and cicadas chirping in the jungle, and watch the gurgling water between the mountains and waters, pressure and troubles are released. It is an ideal place for you to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and release pressure.
【Glass Bridge】The Yunmenshan glass bridge is 316 meters long and has a vertical height of 168 meters. The total width of the bridge body is 2.8 meters. It is the first high-altitude landscape glass bridge in Guangdong Province. The terrain of the two peaks of the glass bridge is steep, and the canyon in the middle crosses. When the mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist, walking on the glass bridge is like ‘stepping on auspicious clouds and riding on the fog’. On a sunny day, walking on the glass bridge is like walking directly in the air. Walking on the glass bridge is like ‘people walking in the air and the scenery is underfoot’, extremely thrilling.
【Sightseeing Cable Car】The Yunmenshan sightseeing cable car has a vertical drop of 328 meters. Tourists can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Yunmenshan scenic area from different directions and angles when sitting in the cable car. Along the way, you can closely observe the green ancient trees and shuttle among them, as if floating in a fairyland. You can have a panoramic view of the infinite scenery of the Yunmenshan scenic area.
【Yunshang Waterfall】The Yunshang Waterfall in Yunmenshan has a water outlet width of 8 meters and flows down directly from the top to the bottom. Its drop is 168 meters, equivalent to the height of a fifty-story building. Looking from a distance, the hundred-meter waterfall pours down, which is quite spectacular. There are three sightseeing elevators installed in the waterfall. Each sightseeing elevator can accommodate 13 people at the same time. It is a rare combination of waterfall and elevator for playing in China. There is an 80-meter-long sightseeing platform on the top of the waterfall for tourists to view the scenery. Standing on the sightseeing platform, you can directly overlook the infinite beautiful scenery at the bottom of the valley.

When the whistle sounds in the park, hundreds of peacocks soar high in the air, presenting a very shocking scene. Since the park opened in July 2019, it has attracted a large number of tourists to check in. 【Folk Wax Museum】Yunmenshan Folk Wax Museum restores the simple life of Yao compatriots, the history of Xijing Ancient Road, and reflects Yunmen Zen culture; have face-to-face contacts with modern and historical celebrities and film and television roles. 【Ocean Theme Park】Yunmenshan Ocean Park covers an area of about 10,000 square meters. It mainly has a sea lion and dolphin performance hall, marine animal viewing, tropical rainforest hall, jellyfish science hall and a fully transparent undersea sightseeing tunnel. There are more than 500 kinds of various marine fishes and organisms raised and displayed in the park. Here you can see all kinds of undersea creatures and enjoy the mysterious and gorgeousness of the undersea world.
