Yunqi Town is situated in the central part of Zhijiang New City, West Lake District, Hangzhou, and expands outwards from the Zhuantang Science and Technology Park. It is China’s first cloud computing industrial town with distinctive technological and humanistic features. The name ‘Yunqi Town’ is symbolic, inheriting the regional culture of the original ‘Yunqi’ scenic area while reflecting the current trends in cloud computing and big data.
The town is composed of eight functional areas: Startup Incubation Area, Entrepreneurship Service Area, Cloud Storage and Computing Industry Area, Engineer Community, International Living Area, Living Support Area, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expansion Area. The goal of Yunqi Town is to become a base for entrepreneurship and innovation, a highland for innovative talents, a place for the inheritance of science and humanities, and the birthplace of cloud computing and big data technology. It will also become a realm for the new generation to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.
