Yunwu Mountain Taoist Temple is situated atop Yunwu Mountain, embodying the essence of the mountain itself.
Originally constructed over two hundred years ago during the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty, it was previously the Xia family temple in Xiabamei Village, a water town about 7 kilometers away in the south of the Yangtze River. It was later transformed into a Taoist temple.
Yunwu Mountain is located in the southeast coastal region of Wenzhou, within the jurisdiction of Cangnan, and has gained a modest reputation within the Wenzhou area.
