Yunzhuan Mountain in Banan, Chongqing, is one of the ancient ‘Twelve Scenic Spots of Bayu’ and the ‘New Eight Scenic Spots of Banan’. The mountain, shaped like a pagoda, is majestic in presence, resembling a sleeping Buddha gazing at the moon from a distance, and akin to a colossal pillar reaching towards the sky when viewed up close. The pine forests are tall and dense, casting a shadow that blocks out the sun, while the lake water is crystal clear, with green waves rippling. Its unique charm has attracted generations of literati and poets, leaving behind numerous renowned poems, paintings, and drawings that have been celebrated through the ages. The park is open all year round from 09:00 to 18:00. From March 1st to October 31st, the opening hours are 09:00 to 18:00, with last admission at 17:30. From November 1st to February 28th, the opening hours are 09:00 to 17:30, with last admission at 17:00.
