Zailang Village is a revolutionary red village. It is the place where the ‘Zailang Battle’ of the Red Army’s Advance Division took place. It is an old revolutionary area village with glorious revolutionary traditions. The ‘Zailang Battle’ was the first major victory of the Red Army’s Advance Division since entering Zhejiang, creating favorable conditions for the establishment of a guerrilla base in southwestern Zhejiang. The people of Zailang Village contributed to the great victory of the ‘Zailang Battle’. Up to now, there are still sites of the Red Army’s battle command post, the cattle pasture battle site, the Aotouyu battle site, the Zhubeiji battle site, the Zailang Battle Monument, and the Red Army Pavilion in Zailang Village. Therefore, Zailang Village has become a revolutionary education base for patriotism in Lishui City. Open all year round, open all day.
