Zhaishanping Forest Park is the only mountain park in the western new city of Chongqing, serving as a significant green core. Covering an area of 1000 acres, the park is characterized by its mountainous forest landscape. The design concept emphasizes a green hat on the mountaintop, a colorful ribbon around the mountain’s waist, a floral skirt at the mountain’s base, and a large dam below, highlighting the visual hierarchy and color effects of the landscape. The park takes into account the relationship between the internal and external views, aiming to provide different experiences whether viewed from a distance or up close, moving towards the goal of ‘blue skies, clear waters, forests, and a garden of flowers and birds’, thus adding a beautiful scenery to Chongqing’s mountain forest parks. Open daily from January 1st to December 31st, 06:00 to 22:00.
