The former residence, spanning an area of 495 square meters, displays from east to west the living conditions of Comrade Zhang Wentian and his relatives in the past. The central parlor, where the Zhang family used to invite friends and hold meetings, is restored with items such as armchairs, tea tables, and rectangular offering tables.
On the west side of the parlor, the main room and side rooms exhibit the bedroom, study, and kitchen where Zhang Wentian lived during his youth. These rooms are restored with pinewood large beds, printed summer cloth mosquito nets, blue printed quilts, dressing tables, foot boxes, orange trees, desks, bookshelves, and three-eyed wood stoves, showcasing the living scenes of the 1920s. On the west side of the parlor, Zhang Wentian’s younger brother, Zhang Zhenping, and others lived. On the east side of the parlor, the main room and side rooms were inhabited by Zhang Wentian’s relatives, including his uncle Zhang Junwen and his uncle Zhang Yusheng. Opening hours are closed all day on Mondays throughout the year; open from 09:00 to 11:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00 on Tuesdays to Sundays throughout the year.Zhang Wentian’s Former Residence
