Zhang Xueliang’s Villa is located on the east hillside of the Huludao Seaside in Longgang District. It is surrounded by mountains and waters, with lush forests. To the east is Huludao Port, and on the west hillside stands the “Monument to the Commencement of the Construction of Huludao Port”. To the south is the boundless Bohai Sea.
The villa was built in 1922. It has two floors and is divided into a front building and a rear building, both of which are of brick-wood structure. Inside the building, there are a foyer, a front hall, an open-air corridor, etc. The white stone wall sets off the green iron tile spire, and the whole building is very elaborate.

The architecture of the villa imitates the pattern of the Japanese wooden structure, adopts a castle-like shape, and also incorporates traditional Chinese architectural methods. It is indeed a fine architectural work of art.

In 1987, Bohai Shipyard invested in the renovation, and the villa restored its former elegance. Now, this villa has become an excellent place for patriotism education.
