Zhang’an Town is located in Jiaojiang District, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, with a long history. In its early days, it was part of Yangzhou, spanning from the Xia, Shang, and Zhou dynasties to the Spring and Autumn period, where Zhang’an was the Ou territory of the Yue State. In 192 BC, during the reign of Emperor Hui, Zhang’an became the land of the Eastern Sea Kingdom.
