Zhangyan Town, located in the southwest of Shanghai, is a central town in Jinshan District. The town covers an area of 35.15 square kilometers, bordering Lvxiang Town to the west and north, neighboring Jinshan Industrial Zone and Shanyang Town to the east, and adjacent to Jinshanwei Town to the south. Historically known as the ‘First Town of the South Bank,’ Zhangyan is also the hometown of Nobel Prize-winning physicist Charles K. Kao. Open all year round, from January 1st to December 31st, with full-day access.
