Zhapo Dajiao Tianhou Palace, also known as Mazu Temple, is located in Zhapo Town, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province. It is built against the mountain and surrounded by lush greenery, boasting a beautiful natural environment. The original temple was constructed during the Qing Kangxi era and was demolished in 1963. It was later rebuilt in 1999 through the collective efforts of the villagers. The area is home to several batteries and scenic spots such as Zhenwei Terrace, Ansheng Terrace, and Anwei Terrace. The temple is serene and its halls are majestic. The newly built Mazu Temple continues the traditional Chinese temple architectural style, featuring intricate carvings and exquisite craftsmanship. Particularly impressive are the two stone-carved dragon pillars at the main gate, which are full stone sculptures and exude grandeur. The temple is open to visitors from 08:00 to 18:00 all year round.
