The Zhedong Canal Xiaoshan Exhibition Hall is currently hosting a special exhibition titled ‘Dreaming Back to the Canal – A Special Exhibition of the Zhedong Canal in Xiaoshan’. This exhibition is held within the existing halls and side rooms of the Jiang Temple, which serve as the exhibition space.
The exhibition is organized into three distinct chapters: History, Culture, and the Zhedong Tang Poetry Road. It employs a diverse range of presentation methods, including text, images, video, physical objects, and interactive experiences, to provide a comprehensive view of the Zhedong Canal’s past and present. This approach allows visitors to gain a systematic understanding of the canal’s historical and cultural significance, thereby fostering the exploration and preservation of canal culture.
Visitors are welcome to explore the exhibition hall year-round. It is open daily from 09:00 to 16:00.
