Zhejiang Shengli Theater, established in 1934, is a significant provincial theater located in the heart of Hangzhou’s bustling commercial district, on the middle section of Yan’an Road, with the picturesque West Lake as its neighbor. This historic venue is one of the most important in Zhejiang Province.
After undergoing renovation, the theater now features cutting-edge stage facilities and equipment. Among its highlights are eight Italian-imported SGM Galileo 1200 professional scanning computer lights, each with 12 channels, and eight main speakers of American three-way (high, mid, and low frequency) coaxial full-range speakers, ALTEC LANSING DTS640. Additionally, the theater is equipped with American ultra-low frequency speakers, ELECTRO-VOICE TL880D. These advanced devices are capable of meeting the demands of a wide range of large-scale performances.
The theater operates all year round, with its doors open to the public from 09:00 to 21:00 daily.
