The Zheng Banqiao Memorial Hall is located in Maolou Village, Xinzhuang Township, Fanxian County, Henan Province. The Zheng Banqiao Memorial Hall covers an area of 28 mu. The main building, ‘Sanjue Hall’, will display the scenes of Zheng Banqiao’s life, writing, and painting. In addition to the exhibition of poetry, calligraphy, and painting works of the three unique skills, there are also buildings such as ‘Jinshui Bridge’, ‘Zheng Banqiao’s former residence’, and ‘Youyi Corridor’.
Zheng Banqiao is a famous thinker, writer, and artist in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. He is one of the ‘Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou’. He served as the magistrate of Fanxian County for five years. Several years after he left Fanxian County, he still did not forget the people of Fanxian County. He once wrote a poem: ‘The people of Fanxian County have an ancient style. They are kind and inclusive. After I leave, I miss them deeply.
