The Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall is located within the Riyue Rock scenic area and is divided into seven sections. It displays over three hundred pieces of cultural relics, materials, photographs, sculptures, and models related to Zheng Chenggong, offering a systematic view of his life and deeds.
The memorial hall is situated in the Xilinn Villa, which is also a well-known historical building on the island. Zheng Chenggong, a renowned national hero in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, reclaimed Taiwan from Dutch invaders who had occupied it for 38 years. He is revered as the ‘Pioneering Saint King’ of Taiwan.


The museum houses more than 400 historical relics related to Zheng Chenggong, complemented by multimedia presentations, allowing visitors to understand his life story and his struggle for national independence, the maintenance of national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national dignity.


The hall is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 08:30 to 16:45, and closed all day on Mondays.
