Zhengjue Temple is located on Yao Shi Street in Hechuan, Chongqing. It is a Buddhist temple that appears quite new, standing five stories high.
On the first floor of the temple, several Buddha statues are enshrined. The temple was originally built in the 1990s, and although it does not cover a large area, its layout of four courtyards is similar to other temples. In 2000, the temple underwent a renovation, and the plaque at the main gate, ‘Zhengjue Temple,’ was inscribed by the eminent monk Daojian.
