Introduction: Zhengjue Zen Temple was first built in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty. It was constructed with donations from Gong Shanxin and other believers. As the temple is eight li away from Yiwu County seat, people call it Bali Dian (later known as Zhengjue An). By the times of Kangxi and Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, it had become a famous temple. The temple is magnificent in scale, with neat halls. The bell sound can be heard several li away. The daily routines of the surrounding residents are based on this bell sound.
