The Zhengshan Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Base Memorial Arch is located in Zhengshan Village, Changqi Town. During the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War, more than eighty people from Zhengshan Village participated in the revolution, making outstanding contributions to the establishment of New China. In memory of the revolutionary martyrs and to commemorate the historical achievements of the Zhengshan people, over 100,000 yuan was raised to build a memorial arch at the entrance of the village. The inscription on the arch narrates the historical story and carves the names of the revolutionary martyrs, serving to commemorate the forebears and educate the descendants. Next to the arch, two kapok trees, known as the ‘Hero Flower,’ are planted, with their bright red flowers in full bloom. The memorial arch is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
