Zhenwu Temple, also known as ‘Baihe Temple’, is located in Xuwen County, Zhanjiang City. Situated on Baihe Mountain in Xuwen County, there is a lesser-known ancient temple, Zhenwu Temple. The temple faces south and is divided into front and back halls. Although the exact construction date is unknown, according to the Qing Dynasty Xuan Tong’s ‘Xuwen County Chronicles’, it was renovated in the 11th year of the Jiaqing era (1806), making it a temple with a long history. As recorded in the ‘Xuwen County Cultural Relics Chronicles’, Zhenwu Temple is situated in front of the Baihe Mountain stream and was originally named ‘Zhenwu Temple’, also known as ‘Baihe Temple’.
