Rumor has it that traveling is about leaving a place you’ve grown tired of for somewhere others have tired of. However, Zhonggu Cableway is a place where one can never grow bored. With 82 cable cars, it eliminates the hassle of long queues. From a high vantage point, you can overlook the beautiful botanical garden and enjoy a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island. In the distance, you can gaze upon Taiwan’s Sandia, Sidan, and Wudan islands, making it an ideal spot for ‘Intelligent Viewing of Xiamen’.
The cable car tour offers a spectacular view of the entire Xiamen cityscape. The cableway is lined with lush greenery, well-arranged in height, and the mountain is adorned with rugged rocks, creating a unique and picturesque scene that can be described as a natural oxygen bar within Xiamen Island! Moreover, the original tunnels left from the war and the wind-moving boulders evoke memories of the past.

At the midpoint of the cable car journey, there is an observation deck where one can overlook the entire sea view of Xiamen. The cable car also serves as a convenient mode of transportation, making it an excellent place for couples and families to relax and cultivate their sentiments during weekends and holidays. It is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:30.

Pricing Policy for Children: One adult can accompany one child under 1.2 meters (not included) for free. For more than one child, a child ticket is required. Children between 1.2 meters (included) and 1.4 meters (not included) must purchase a ticket at the window.

Additional Notes for Elderly: Elders aged 70 and above are not allowed to participate.
