The Zhongshan Hot Spring Golf Club is located about 23 kilometers south of Shiqi, Zhongshan City. It was newly built with investment from renowned figures such as Mr. Henry Fok Ying-tung and Mr. Cheng Yu-tung. The Zhongshan Hot Spring Golf Club is the first golf club built in China. At the same time, it is also the first standard golf course with 36 holes for championships in China. The unique feature of the course is that it was carefully designed by two world-famous professional golfers, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, and it can be called a masterpiece in the world.
The Arnold Palmer course of the Zhongshan Hot Spring Golf Club was opened in 1984. The course has winding mountains and dense and graceful green grass, blending the scenery of a paradise. The Arnold Palmer course has attracted international attention as it was the first to host China’s large-scale international golf tournament – the Dunhill Cup Pacific Region Finals. After the Arnold Palmer course was opened, the Jack Nicklaus course was also born in November 1993. The Jack Nicklaus course can be described as a paradise for golfers. It not only has wide fairways and continuous sand bunkers, but also is accompanied by slender and strong Bermuda grass. Both courses have their own characteristics in design, making the Zhongshan Hot Spring Golf Club famous.Opening hours: Open all year round from 06:00 to 18:00.
