Zhongxing Dongyue Temple, situated in Hangzhou, is a historical landmark with a rich past. Originally constructed during the Daguan era of the Northern Song Dynasty, the temple has undergone a period of destruction and subsequent reconstruction. Today, it boasts a layout featuring five bays, a hard mountain top, and is divided into three distinct courtyards. Within its grounds, two ancient catalpa trees add to the temple’s beauty, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere.
The temple is open to visitors from 08:30 to 16:30 throughout the year. However, please note that the actual operating status may vary depending on the day’s opening conditions.
