Zhongyi Pavilion is located on Hefang Street in Hangzhou. As you stroll down the street from a distance, you can see a wooden pavilion in the middle of the road. The plaque above it is inscribed with the words ‘Zhongyi Pavilion’.
Inside the pavilion, the statue of Guan Yu is exquisitely carved with a lifelike expression. His crescent eyebrows are slightly furrowed, and his long, beautiful beard flutters gently in the wind. Each strand of the beard is clearly sculpted. His face radiates an air of righteousness.
He is clad in a dragon-patterned armor with a dragon head protective mirror. The scales on his body are distinctly visible. He holds a sword in his left hand and the famous blade, the Green Dragon Crescent Blade, in his right hand, exuding an imposing aura.
Passing tourists are welcome to take photos for remembrance. The pavilion is open all year round and accessible 24/7.
