Zhuangyuan Peak is located behind Huguo Chan Courtyard. It is said to be named after Chen Chengzhi, the number one scholar in the Song Dynasty, who studied here. There are many cliff inscriptions in the vicinity. The inscriptions are奇妙ly surrounded by the roots of ancient banyan trees, forming a large oval mirror.
There are six Ao-related historical sites nearby: Lan’ao Pavilion, Yi’ao Xuan, Ying’ao Stone, Jie’ao Gate, Bu’ao Slope, and Song’ao Peak.
