Zhufeng Mountain is located in the southwest of Guojiazhuang, Ganggou Town, Licheng District, Jinan City, about 15 kilometers from the urban area. It can be reached about 3 kilometers southwest from the zero point of the Jinlai Expressway. The scenic area is composed of Tongtianzhai, Laochengding, Wolongling, Paomaling and the mountain valley surrounded by mountains. Ascending the steps from the scenic area entrance and entering the scenic area gate, one can see that the terrain suddenly becomes open.
All kinds of forests are lush and green, forming a sharp contrast with the barren scene outside the gate, as if entering a paradise outside the world. Looking at Zhufeng Mountain from afar, it is just like a huge golden phoenix about to take off. The mountain top platform on the north side of Xiangyin Temple is the head of the phoenix, so it is called ‘Phoenix Terrace’. This is a good place to view the beautiful scenery of the fairyland. Looking into the distance, there are overlapping mountains and crisscrossing fields. Looking closely, unique thatched cottages are hidden among the green trees. There are patches of mountain flowers, clusters of green trees, melodious bird songs and tinkling springs. The thousand-year-old Xiangyin Temple is hidden among the green trees on the hillside of Zhufeng Mountain. This long-tested temple still has strong incense offerings, and people from far and near come in an endless stream to make wishes and pray for blessings. Busy people in the noisy city can choose to come here and immerse themselves in the mountains and waters and breathe freely and comfortably.
