They combine nomadic culture with rock. With an optimistic, simple yet fierce and stern worldview. Sing about the relationship between humans and nature. Sing about the creatures on the wilderness. Sing about beloved people and the self under the vast sky. Sing about nomadic life and nature itself. Carrying the distant culture of Mongolians. Carrying the musical nature of Mongolians. The songs of HEER band start from the Mongolian grassland.
When the roar of electric sound and the melodious sound of morin khuur, and the deep and mysterious khoomei are intertwined. The wild songs transcend the shackles of language. Collaging an empty picture pointing from the self to infinity. Members of HEER band. Lead singer/khoomei: A Mu. Amuguleng is a musician with a bumpy experience but full of faith and persistent pursuit. His voice is bold and broad, and his stage performance is lively and down-to-earth. Guitar/captain: Chao Mao. Chao Mao joined the band in 2006. He is an excellent musician. Songs such as ‘Mongolian Hometown’, ‘Mortal World’, ‘Traces’, and ‘A Soul Journey as if in Another Life’ are all composed by him. Bass/harmony: Manda. Bassist Wulan Manda joined the Lanye band in 2003. He has rich experience in music production and stage performance. Morin khuur: Jin Shan. Morin khuur player Jin Shan is a leading morin khuur player in China. He has played movie music for films such as ‘Wolf Totem’. His figure can often be seen playing morin khuur at the concert sites of big names such as Qi Qin, Han Hong, and Wang Feng. Drum: Ba Gen. Drummer Ba Gen is a bit shy, but behind the drum kit, he is cool and unrestrained. HEER. In 2023, the ‘Jiguur’ MV was released. They participated in music festivals and large-scale events such as the ‘Hohhot Naobao Music Festival’, ‘Gergen Tara Music Festival’, ‘Xinjiang Donggui Music Festival’, and ‘Alxa Hero Meeting Music Festival’. In February 2024, the new song ‘HAYAGRIVA’ MV was released. The first season of the national Live House tour was completed, covering a total of 15 cities including Nanning, Wuhan, Beijing, Tangshan, Taiyuan, Yantai, Rizhao, Weihai, etc. In April 2024, the band started the second season of the tour. Completed the Live House tour of 12 cities including Kunming, Shanghai, Nanjing, Ningbo, Chengdu, Xi’an, Chongqing, and Nanchang. On March 12, 2025, the HEER (Lanye) band will come to the Zhuhai Grand Theatre and bring the songs of the grassland to Zhuhai more than 2,000 kilometers away.They set out from the Mongolian grassland and have left their footprints on many stages at home and abroad. After experiencing multiple changes in members and styles, the current five members still continue to write the legend of Mongolian music with a sincere attitude. The twenty-year music journey has witnessed the development process of modern Mongolian music and played a pivotal role. Opening time: Wednesday, March 12. Performance start time: 20:00.
