Zhuhai Museum, also known as Jiuzhou City, is located in the heart of Zhuhai City and is a classical-style building that serves as one of the symbols of Zhuhai. It showcases numerous cultural relics themed around Zhuhai, making it an excellent place to learn about the city’s history and culture.
The museum features more than a dozen exhibition halls, with a pleasant environment that includes not only indoor exhibition rooms but also pavilions, towers, and open-air ponds. Strolling through the museum to appreciate the cultural relics is a delightful experience.
The collection includes dinosaur fossils, jade and pottery unearthed in Zhuhai, as well as photographs documenting Zhuhai’s development since the reform and opening up. The exhibits span from ancient times to the present, offering a comprehensive view of the city’s past and present.
Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00, all year round; closed all day on Mondays; and open on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day from 09:00-17:00.
