Zhunqing Temple was founded by Lin Yulian, a virtuous wife from the Ouxia Village at the end of the Ming Dynasty. Originally a vegetarian hall, it was later promoted to Zhunqing Temple during the Qing Dynasty by the倡议 of Shi Fulong from Zhunti Temple in Wangwan Village, Anchun County.
