Zhuoxi Spring is located at the east rock wall under the Qianfo Hall in Lingyan Temple Scenic Area, Wande Town, Changqing District, Jinan. The spring is known for its competing streams, towering ancient cypresses, numerous inscriptions, and is one of the famous Lingyan Eight Scenic Spots. It is said to be named after a high monk who struck the ground with a tin staff to produce a spring. The spring water gushes out from caves at the lower part of the rock wall, flows along stone channels, and merges with Baihe and Shuanghe springs into the Mirror Pond. On the rock beside the spring, there is an inscription of Emperor Qianlong’s imperial script of Zhuoxi Spring and a poem praising the spring. The opening hours are from 08:30 to 17:00 all year round, with specific business status subject to the daily opening situation.
