As an important part of the national 4A-level scenic spot – ‘Lingshan Craftsman Town’, Zhuxi Old Street is located on the only way to Shangrao Lingshan Scenic Area. The project is embedded between green mountains and clear waters. It is adjacent to the Lingshan Mountains, which are lush all year round in the west, and is accompanied by the Zhuxi River, which is blue all year round in the north. With beautiful mountains and waters and rich ecological resources.

Zhuxi Old Street gathers six major business forms: craftsmanship experience, cultural specialties, creative workshops, folk performing arts, leisure and entertainment, and local delicacies. It gathers ingenuity to create the number one street in Shangrao. Zhuxi Old Street takes the original thousand-year-old Huizhou ancient architecture as the platform and plans the ancient street with ‘craftsman culture’ as the soul.

It has attracted a large number of well-known craftsmen and revitalized traditional crafts such as stone carving, root carving, porcelain, paper art, and bamboo art. The old street has revived many ancient buildings on the verge of destruction. More than 100 Huizhou-style buildings have been rebuilt. Each independent building here is a horse-head wall, small green tiles, and white powder wall. The shopfronts of brick-wood structure, delicate and exquisite attics, and exquisitely carved patterns, plus the small doors, large halls, patios, and the narrow and deep alleys between houses are scattered and unique, bustling and prosperous, showing the simplicity and elegance of the Huizhou architectural pattern, which is quite interesting.

One of the main parts of the old street, the Five Phoenix Tower, attracts the living water of the Lingshan Mountains to surround it, gathering qi and generating wealth. There are tethering posts standing at the door, symbolizing abundance and stability and a steady stream of wealth. The entire landscape square is crafted with ingenuity to create a blessed treasure land with favorable feng shui. Standing on the stable and prosperous square platform, you can see that the gate tower of the Five Phoenix Tower is very distinctive.

The outline of the gate tower is not a straight line, but a curve that unfolds like a bird’s wing. In architecture, it is called a wing angle. The Five Phoenix Tower has ten wing angles, forming five pairs of spreading wings, like phoenixes flying into the blue sky. This not only increases the majesty of the gate, but also implies that there are many talents in the family. That’s why it is called the Five Phoenix Tower.

The ancient stage originally belonged to an important part of the century-old Five Phoenix Tower, the core building of Zhuxi Old Street. Together with the ancient stage, it is called the – seven-entry courtyard, thus forming the first high official courtyard in the south of the Yangtze River – the Five Phoenix Tower. The original stage was set at the back of the old house and belonged to the inner house of the entire Five Phoenix Tower.

In order to make it more convenient for tourists to experience ancient house performances, the old street divided the Five Phoenix Tower into two parts and sat facing the street.

Stroll leisurely along the cobblestone paths of Zhuxi Old Street for a day. Surrounded by flowing water from high mountains, the Xian Yan Tower will also light up with brilliance at night, accompanied by a light show with music.

Yitian Group has invested heavily in inviting lighting designers to create five light projection shows for the nights of Zhuxi Old Street, starting from the main entrance archway to Xian Yan Tower, with continuous excitement. The water alleys, green tiles, and white walls are illuminated by the lights, creating an unbearably beautiful sight.

After enjoying the night view, you can go to a bar for a couple of drinks or watch local performances on the ancient stage, which is very pleasant.
