Zigong Jianshan Scenic Area is located in Rongbian Town, Ziliujing District, at the western gateway of the ‘Salt Capital’ Zigong, approximately 10 kilometers from the city center. It is a provincial-level natural scenic reserve and a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Established in 1955, the scenic area covers a total area of 2.86 square kilometers, with a coordinated planning area of 7.1 square kilometers. Featuring a forest coverage rate of over 70% and a negative oxygen ion concentration as high as 5,000 per cubic meter, it is an ecological pastoral tourism destination integrating eco-vacations, waterfront sports, summer retreats, health preservation, and rural tourism. It is acclaimed as Zigong’s ‘City Lung’ and ‘Urban Back Garden’.

Through nearly two years of enhancement and renovation, the revitalized Jianshan Scenic Area now presents a new visage, offering visitors from all over a distinctive, colorful pastoral landscape and a poetic Jianshan experience. The ‘Four Seasons Flower Sea’ allows flower appreciation throughout the year. A fully ecological large outdoor fishing ground, paired with Jianshan’s specialty roasted rabbit and lamb, enables visitors to savor authentic rural cuisine.

Activities like jungle trekking, zip-lining, and boating facilitate perfect interaction with the mountain forests and water scenery, fostering physical and mental tranquility. Composing poetry in the Poetry Corridor offers a unique poetic encounter. Live-action escape rooms and leisurely wine tasting on painted pleasure boats progressively present thrills and relaxation.
