The Zilianshan Scenic Area is located within the territory of Shanshi, Daxi Town. It has a total area of 6.18 square kilometers. Surrounded by mountains, the scenic area is beautiful. It integrates peaks, rocks, waterfalls, streams, ponds, caves, forests, and temples. There are 28 scenic spots in total. Among them, the Eagle Beak Waterfall, Libi Waterfall, and Longtan Waterfall are relatively famous. Especially the Longtan Waterfall, which never dries up all year round, is comparable to Longqiu Waterfall in Yandang Mountain. At the foot of the mountain is the Puji Temple. Built in the third year of Guanghua in the Tang Dynasty (899 AD), it has always been a place for Buddhism. There is a saying of closing the mountain gate on horseback.
