Ziwei Mountain National Forest Park is located in the southern part of Qu County, Zhejiang Province. The park boasts dense forests and unique natural landscapes, including a semi-primitive white fir forest. It integrates peculiar mountains and rocks, natural caves, and serene valleys with streams, gathering mountains, forests, springs, waterfalls, clouds, and mists within a single valley, creating a landscape characterized by danger, grandeur, uniqueness, tranquility, and beauty.
The park is composed of Longmen Gorge Scenic Area, Medicine King Mountain Scenic Area, Dayuanwei Scenic Area, Dongyan Scenic Area, and Jiulong Lake Leisure Resort Area. During summer, it offers a retreat from the ‘three dog days’ of heat, and in winter, it provides a view of snow during the ‘three nine’ days. Visitors can enjoy the moon at night, watch the sunrise in the morning, bid farewell to the sunset, and listen to the pine waves. Activities include climbing cloud ladders and wading through Longtan pools. The park also offers local snacks and wild delicacies.
