Ziyun Valley is an integral part of the Xijiang Lingyang Gorge Nature Reserve. The four cruise ships at Ziyun Valley are the only tourist vessels in the entire Xijiang Lingyang Gorge section. After touring the scenic area, visitors can board these cruise ships for a unique dynamic travel experience. During the spring and summer, the area is often enveloped in mist, presenting a myriad of atmospheric phenomena, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the beauty of both banks of the Lingyang Gorge. They can also witness the sights of Yan Keng city wall, Da Xiao Longmen, Lingguan Ancient Path, Qingfeng Pavilion, Shanyi Pit, Entry and Exit Mountain Tiger Mouth, and Wenshu Village, among other scenic spots.
Furthermore, Ziyun Valley is renowned for producing the top of China’s four famous inkstones, known as ‘Duan Inkstone’. High-quality Duan Inkstones are sourced from the old pits, Kengzi, and Mazi pits of Ziyun Valley. It is a must to visit the three famous pits and ancient Duan Inkstone sites.
Opening Hours: 08:30-17:30 all year round; 08:00-19:00 with preferential policies. Children under 1 meter (not including) in height enter for free. Active-duty military personnel and disabled individuals enter with valid military or disability certificates. Children, students, and the elderly between 1 meter (including) and 1.4 meters (not including) in height, full-time university and school students with valid student IDs, and individuals aged 60 and above with ID cards can purchase discounted tickets. Additional information on discounted tickets: those eligible for free tickets only cover the entrance fee and must pay an additional 10 yuan per person for the ferry fee (round trip) to enter the scenic area. Infants aged 1-2 years old without seats are exempt from the ferry fee.
