Zongshan Academy, established in the eleventh year of the Jiajing reign during the Ming Dynasty, now only has the remains of a three-door, four-column, double-eaved stone archway. The archway stands approximately 6 meters high and 7 meters wide. The front of the archway is inscribed with the prominent characters ‘Zongshan Academy,’ while the back is engraved with ‘Yangzhi.’
