Zuo’an Park is located on the north bank of the southwest surge in the southwest urban area of Sanshui District, Foshan City. It connects to the Guangsan Expressway in the east, extends to the Guanghai Bridge in the west, is bordered by Binhe North Road in the north, and overlooks the southwest surge in the south. The land is strip-shaped along the river, covering an area of approximately 11.5 hectares. The park features a simple, straight main garden path and an arc-shaped secondary garden path that traverse the site, emphasizing spatial separation and connection as well as the progression and permeation of layers. The design includes undulating terrain and elevated walkways that provide visitors with a variety of vertical experiences. Extensive green areas not only increase the park’s green space ratio but also mitigate the drawback of an overly large proportion of paved square areas in the original design. The pavilion on the hill, the double-layered corridor, and the river-side walking path with forest belts make it an excellent spot for viewing the river up close. The park is open all day, every day from January 1st to December 31st.
