【Hangzhou】’Cloud and Mud’ Dual Exhibition by Song Jiajun and Yin Sitong

In this exhibition, the two artists will construct a temporary domain concerning wandering and returning through installations, photography, sculpture, and video. Cloud and mud, as symbols of two vastly different states, share an internal structure of suspended and flowing particles. The former, light and dynamic, reveals the impermanence faced by the artists in their lives; the latter, heavy and static, materializes the spiritual retreat of the two. Cloud and mud not only build a suspended state of being but also serve as a call to life’s circumstances, responding to the artists’ perspectives on identity, existence, migration, and homeland: the body is a seed carrying the essence of the homeland, intermingling and drifting towards another realm; and the seeds of the future will carry the moisture of new mud, drifting afar once more. Open from November 1st to December 15th, with specific business hours subject to daily opening conditions.
