This biennale is themed around “The Attitude of Light”. Its fundamental meaning takes into account the forms of ‘light’ in the evolution of industrial technology, the foundation of civilization, and the innovation of the era. It calls for an understanding of ‘light’ that is not limited to existing forms, but rather embraces more possibilities and a broader imaginative space. Consequently, it leans towards artworks that focus on ‘technology’, ‘interaction’, and ‘ecology’.
