Synopsis and play: The elderly Andre finds that he can no longer recognize the reality he is in. Familiar things are constantly disappearing, and familiar people are becoming strange… Memory and time are becoming more and more chaotic. Moreover, he doesn’t understand why strangers have been intruding into his life recently… The play The Father won the best script of the heavyweight French drama award, the Molière Drama Award in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, it was nominated for the best script award of many major awards such as Tony, Laurence Olivier, London Evening Standard, and New York Outer Critics Circle. So far, multiple stage versions of it have been staged in more than 45 countries around the world.

The film of the same name The Father (also known as The Father Trapped in Time) has received more than 100 nominations for film awards in many countries and won more than 30 awards including the best adapted screenplay and best actor at the 93rd Academy Awards.
