This time, we invite urban ink artist Mr. Wang Qiutong to participate in the exhibition. The exhibition showcases Hong Kong urban ink paintings with brilliant night scenes and festival atmosphere. A total of 22 works are on display. Ms. Chan Kwok-chi, chairman of Artspace K, said that the lights of the high-rise buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour fall on the sea surface, shining with ever-changing brilliance, making the harbour turn into a beautiful urban night scene. This is the pride of us Hong Kong people and it must also be the scenery that leaves the deepest impression on Hong Kong tourists. The ‘Brilliance – Solo Exhibition of Wang Qiutong’ is held this time. With his thirty years of experience in exploring urban ink painting creation, he depicts Hong Kong’s splendid and charming urban night scenes and cultural festivals. Through his works, the audience can feel Hong Kong with unique charm. The exhibition works of Wang Qiutong take Victoria Harbour night scenes, urban streets, neon signs, fireworks and cultural festivals as themes, presenting the ever-changing Hong Kong through ink painting creation. We look forward to letting everyone feel a Hong Kong full of art and romantic atmosphere through his works. To match the theme of this exhibition, Artspace K specially holds two exhibition activities and invites Mr. Wang Qiutong to personally demonstrate and share how to create his personal urban ink style from composition, lines and colors.
