Chi Fung Hin Gallery is proud to present the solo exhibition of Italian sculptor Matteo Pugliese, titled “Commemoration,” which marks his long-awaited return to Hong Kong.
Themed around “Commemoration,” the exhibition provides a window into Pugliese’s twenty-year artistic journey. Each piece on display is a testament to the inspiring discoveries of his soul’s voyage, delving into themes of redemption and resilience, fragility and strength, identity and lineage, faith and rebirth.
Matteo Pugliese’s creative materials are diverse, including bronze, marble, clay, ceramics, and walnut wood, among others. He skillfully blends classical traditions with revolutionary concepts, continually exploring new realms of contemporary sculpture. This has led to the creation of iconic series such as “Extra Moenia,” “Guardians,” “Beetles,” and his latest works.
The exhibition is open from August 29th to November 2nd, with the specific business status subject to the daily opening conditions.
